Worship & The Arts Ministry

Kabanya Vinson
Min. of Worship & The Arts

God is calling for us to go beyond the walls of the church building and return to our first works; ”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, “ (Matthew 28:19, NIV). He is calling us to go out and compel the lost to come to Jesus Christ and be saved. Evangelism is our first call to ministry. In 2010, we are taking the message to the streets, proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Son of the True and Living God. As we exalt the Savior, The Worship and Arts Ministry endeavors to create an atmosphere where the Spirit of God abides and His manifest glory can be seen, heard, experienced, and shared. As we bring the harvest of souls into the sanctuary, in His presence, hearts and minds can be changed and lives can be forever transformed.

The sanctuary must be set and ready for worship and praise to our God. We accomplish this through all of the departments of Worship and the Arts: sign language, music, drama, and dance. God’s glory and His Word are translated through each of these facets of the arts so that each person attending a worship service at the Ray can uniquely experience the power and the glory of God and individually be touched and spoken to through one of these anointed ministries.

Worship is the path that we must travel to find God in all of His glory, majesty, and splendor. It is in the worship experience that a person’s heart is warmed and made pliable to receive the preached Word of God with illuminated revelation. The Ministry of Worship and the Arts desires to prepare a place where men, women, boys, and girls can expect to experience God in all of His wondrous power and be made more receptive to the Word of God. Through this, we are impacting this present world and transforming it into the Kingdom of God

Deaf Ministry
The Word of God is made accessible to the hearing impaired through the Hands of Hope Sign Language ministry. Our worship experience is translated so that no person is left without being able to experience the presence of God and also receive the Word of God. Training classes are available to persons who desire to join this ministry.
